RDLR Architects worked with the City of Houston on the design of a new 33,500 sf Public Works and Engineering (PWE) Facility which is primarily used as a staging area for the City of Houston PWE utility workers in the northeast quadrant and includes space for administrative and support services for the Water, Wastewater, and Restoration divisions of PWE.

During Westrick’s leadership, RDLR has earned numerous design and firm awards including the Texas Society of Architects Firm Award, the highest honor bestowed on architecture firms. She has extensive experience in all areas of architectural design and planning and enjoys public work projects such as educational facilities and streetscapes. She also has considerable experience designing for non-profit organizations. Noteworthy projects include the Houston Food Bank (recipient of five local, state, and national awards); the Sam Houston Tollway NE Main Lane Plaza (TxA Design Award); and renovations at Reagan High School (GHPA design award).

On February 22, 2022, SERJobs was presented with the 2022 Development of Distinction Award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Houston in the Not For Profit category for its Workforce Opportunity Center located at 1710 Telephone Road.

A graduate of The University of Houston’s College of Architecture, with a degree in Architecture, Francis joins RDLR as a design intern who is eager to learn and take on responsibility. Francis is most enthusiastic about gaining industry knowledge by working with her mentor as well as attaining project experience through hands on involvement.

Designed by RDLR Architects, the recently completed addition and renovation at University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work is an epicenter of conversations reimagining social, racial, economic, and political justice, both locally and globally. Due to the growing program, RDLR Architects designed a terraced Lobby Pavilion addition to the existing 4-story building and designed recirculation of the first floor to accommodate the new entry.

A graduate of Politecnico di Milano, with a master’s degree in Architecture, Federica has over 5 years of experience working for architectural firms in Milan, Italy. Federica is a licensed architect in Italy and has enjoyed the opportunity to study in different countries including, France, Italy, Australia and now the US!

Designed by RDLR Architects, the recently completed, 16,800 square foot, Fort Bend County Caleb Rule Public Safety Annex is located at the gateway to the cities of Fulshear and Simonton, and it is the center of activity for current residents of Firethorne, Cinco Ranch Southwest, Westheimer Lakes, and Cross Creek Ranch.

The Patanjali Yoga Center will be the first overseas institution for Swami Ramdev, also known as Baba Ramdev, an Indian yogi and agriculturist known for his work in ayurveda, yoga, and agriculture. Ramdev has been holding large yoga camps since 2002 and broadcasting his yoga classes for TV audiences.

The recently completed Westpark / Lower Uptown Transit Center occupies a 2.5-acre site alongside the Westpark transit corridor. The facility serves as the southern terminus of the Uptown Management District and METRO’s jointly developed Uptown Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line, METRORapid, Houston's first bus rapid transit line. The new METRORapid Silver Line brings expedited service to the Uptown area by providing transit connections to local and express bus routes as well as while providing for high-capacity transit development in the Westpark Corridor.

A graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio, Gabe brings over 15 years of experience to the RDLR team. Gabe’s experience includes municipal, community and education. He is a LEED Green Associate as well as a Revit Architecture Certified Professional.

Construction is set to commence this summer on the Eternal Gandhi Museum Houston (EGMH), a place-base arts initiative. Designed by RDLR Architects, the new museum will be the first of its kind in North America dedicated to addressing the complex social issues of our community—violence, discrimination, social inequity, and racial injustice—by studying and applying the teachings of the world’s greatest peace advocates, beginning with the apostle of peace, Mahatma Gandhi.

A graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio, with a master’s degree in Architecture, Hector has over 20 years of experience in planning and design for educational, government, residential and public buildings. Hector is a licensed architect and a registered interior designer.

The Texas Chapter of the American Public Works Association (TPWA) selected the Fort Bend County Public Transportation Facility project for its 2020 Project of the Year Award, under the $5-$25 million transportation category.

RDLR Architects provided architectural design services for the new $21-million transportation facility which will serve as a one-stop shop for Fort Bend County’s transportation department, including its administrative, operations, maintenance, fuel depot and bus washing functions.

RDLR Architects is servings as the architect and designer of record for the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work which is undergoing a $3.9 million renovation. 

The University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work is breaking ground on a $3.9 million building improvement project. The entire first floor of the four-story GCSW building will be renovated to create modern learning environments that encourage collaboration between researchers, students and community partners.
