RDLR Architects is proud to announce that our Marketing Director, Sarah De Ita, CPSM, has been honored with the SMPS Houston Member Achievement Award: Rock of the Chapter — a recognition given to a member whose dedication and leadership have made a lasting impact on the Chapter and the A/E/C industry.

The Rock of the Chapter Award celebrates individuals whose contributions serve as the backbone of the organization — those who are always working for the greater good and consistently driving the industry forward. Sarah exemplifies this spirit through her unwavering commitment, creativity, and leadership.

An active member of SMPS for over 25 years, Sarah has dedicated her career to advancing marketing excellence within the A/E/C community. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, she brings over two decades of marketing expertise in the architectural and engineering industry. As a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), she is a storyteller at heart — crafting compelling narratives and targeted pursuit strategies that elevate firms’ visibility and drive business growth.

Her involvement with the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Houston Chapter spans several impactful roles, including her service as Education Director (2019–2025). She has also served as a mentor in the Mentor/Protégé Program, a member of the Sponsorship and Design Awards Committees, and a judge for the Marketing Communications Awards.

Sarah’s passion for marketing excellence was first recognized in 2018, when she received the SMPS Houston Marketing Excellence Award. Her continued leadership, mentorship, and advocacy for professional growth now earn her one of the Chapter’s highest honors.

Please join us in congratulating Sarah for her remarkable achievements, steadfast leadership, and for being a true “Rock” within both RDLR Architects and the greater A/E/C community.
